# Workflow run logs, deduplication, and send fixes

Source: https://developer.nylas.com/docs/changelogs/2026-10-01-workflow-logs-and-send-fixes/

## Added

- **Workflow run logs in the Dashboard.** Go to **Logs** > **System** and filter **Source** to **Workflows** to follow each workflow run: its trigger, any skip and the reason, each send or failure, and the final sent and failed counts. Workflow create, update, and delete requests appear in **Logs** > **API**. See [Where can I see what a workflow did?](/docs/cookbook/workflows/workflow-not-sending/#where-can-i-see-what-a-workflow-did)

## Changed

- **Workflows with a `from` email must use an application-level template.** Create and update requests that pair `from.email` with a grant-level template now return `400` instead of saving a workflow whose every send fails. See [Where does a workflow send from?](/docs/v3/email/templates-workflows/#where-does-a-workflow-send-from)

## Fixed

- **Provider rate limits on send.** When a mail provider throttles a send, the API now returns `429` immediately, with the provider's `Retry-After` header when the provider gives one. See [handle rate limit errors](/docs/cookbook/use-cases/build/handle-rate-limit-errors/).
- **IMAP drafts.** Drafts created or updated on an IMAP grant now use the same MIME format as sent messages. This fixes drafts that some clients, such as Outlook desktop, couldn't open.
- **IMAP send throttling.** When an IMAP account's SMTP server responds with `421 too many commands`, the API now returns `429 Too Many Requests` instead of `504 Gateway Timeout`.
