Welcome, friends, to our monthly episode of New in Nylas! 👋 February has brought some snow to North America, so we're building snowmen in between shipping updates. ☃️ Speaking of updates...

### Did you know we have RSS feeds?

Point your RSS reader at us to subscribe to our [SDK changelogs](/atom-changelogs.xml), our [product Release notes](/atom-relnotes.xml), or [both](/atom.xml).

> **Success:**
> ✨ **As a friendly reminder, Nylas maintains compatibility within major versions**. This means if you’re on Nylas v3, you don’t need to do anything to use the features we’re talking about here.

## Nylas v2 deprecation news

Nylas v3 is our faster, more reliable, easier to use new platform, and we can’t wait to show you what you’re missing.

> **Error:**
> ⛔️ **Nylas v2 has officially been deprecated as of January 20, 2025**. If you haven’t migrated to v3 yet, [contact Nylas Support](https://support.nylas.com/hc/en-us/requests/new).

## SDK support for Nylas Scheduler

We mentioned in December that two of our four SDKs were updated with support for Nylas Scheduler. Well, the **Python** and **Kotlin/Java** SDKs now support it too!

## Nylas API improvements and bug fixes

- Nylas now supports MIME data in [Send Message requests](/docs/reference/api/messages/send-message/).

## Nylas SDK changelogs

Our intrepid team of developers is always working to improve Nylas, and that includes the SDKs that we maintain. We had a few updates to the SDKs throughout the month:

- **Node.js SDK**: [v7.7.3](/docs/new/v3-changelogs/2025-01-23-node-sdk-v7-7-3/), [v7.7.4](/docs/new/v3-changelogs/2025-01-23-node-sdk-v7-7-4/)
- **Python SDK**: [v6.6.0](/docs/new/v3-changelogs/2025-01-28-python-sdk-v6-6-0/)
- **Ruby SDK**: [v6.2.3](/docs/new/v3-changelogs/2025-01-23-ruby-sdk-v6-2-3/)
- **Kotlin/Java SDK**: [v2.6.0](/docs/new/v3-changelogs/2025-01-24-java-sdk-v2-6-0/)

## New and updated docs

We’re always working to make our docs better! This month, we’re pointing the spotlight at our [Rate limits in Nylas page](/docs/dev-guide/platform/rate-limits/#provider-rate-limits). We updated it with some more information about how to work with your provider to avoid rate limits.

### Consolidated Scheduler docs

We've also done an overhaul on our [Scheduler docs](/docs/v3/scheduler/) to make them more succinct and easier to navigate. 🚀 Feel free to take a stroll through the updated information, and [let us know](mailto:ireadthedocs@nylas.com) if you have any comments or suggestions!
