Welcome, friends, to our monthly episode of New in Nylas! 👋 It's still snowing a bit here in the northern hemisphere after some warmer weather — our own collective April Fool's Day prank — but we're still shipping our updates hot and fresh! Before we get down to it, though...

### Did you know we have RSS feeds?

> **Success:**
> ✨ **As a friendly reminder, Nylas maintains compatibility within major versions**. This means if you’re on Nylas v3, you don’t need to do anything to use the features we’re talking about here.

## Nylas v2 deprecation news

Nylas v3 is our faster, more reliable, easier to use new platform, and we can’t wait to show you what you’re missing.

> **Error:**
> ⛔️ **Nylas v2 has officially been deprecated as of January 20, 2025**. If you haven’t migrated to v3 yet, [contact Nylas Support](https://support.nylas.com/hc/en-us/requests/new).

## Introducing the Import Events endpoint

We've added a new endpoint to the Nylas Events API: [`GET /v3/grants/<NYLAS_GRANT_ID>/events/import`](/docs/reference/api/events/import-events/). When you make an Import Events request, Nylas returns a list of events (including recurring events and their exceptions) from the calendar you specify, within a defined time period. You can peruse our [recurring events documentation](/docs/v3/calendar/recurring-events/) for more information.

All of the Nylas SDKs have also been updated to support the Import Events endpoint, so you can plug and play with whatever language you're developing in!

## Nylas API improvements and bug fixes

- The [Clean Messages endpoint](/docs/reference/api/messages/clean-messages/) now supports the `html_as_markdown` parameter so you can request message contents in Markdown.
- The [Get all Folders](/docs/reference/api/folders/get-folder/), [Get Folder](/docs/reference/api/folders/get-folders-id/), and [Update Folder](/docs/reference/api/folders/put-folders-id/) endpoints now support the `include_hidden_folders` query parameter for Microsoft grants.

## Nylas SDK changelogs

Our intrepid team of developers is always working to improve Nylas, and that includes the SDKs that we maintain. We had a few updates to the SDKs throughout the month:
