# [2025-07-20] Changes to our platform packages

Welcome back, friends. 👋 We mentioned this in our [July release notes](/docs/new/release-notes/2025-07-02-new-in-nylas/): we’ve changed our platform packages and pricing as of **July 2, 2025**.

> **If you’re already one of our customers, don’t worry: nothing changes for you immediately**. Any features limited to contract customers will still be available until **August 31, 2025** if you’re already on a calendar-only or full platform plan. For now, here’s a closer look at the changes you can expect.

## Reduced pricing

We’ve lowered the prices for our non-contract plans! This makes integrating with Nylas more accessible to your growing business, and is part of an overall effort to make Nylas easier to add to your project.

## Updated support plans

We’ve updated our support plans so that any customers who don’t have contracts with us will be directed to our [community forums](https://forums.nylas.com/?utm_source=docs&utm_campaign=pricing-relnotess&utm_content=relnotes) for questions, troubleshooting, and sharing your wins. Customers who have contracts with us will still be able to reach out to Nylas Support whenever you need to.

## Changes to feature names

We’re updating some of our feature names across all public surfaces to more accurately reflect what we’re offering. You can expect to see the following updates:

- Authentication scopes → Granular scopes
- Custom Authentication → Bring your Own Authentication
- Clean Conversations → Email Parsing
- IMAP retention policy → IMAP message cache
- Room resources → Room resource booking
- Round-robin availability → Round-robin scheduling
- Static IPs → Static IP routing
- Video conferencing support → Event auto-conferencing

We’re also changing how we refer to customized authentication settings. Previously, we would refer to a **whitelabeled domain** and **custom branding**; now you’ll see **custom domain name (CNAME)** and **Hosted Authentication branding**, respectively.

## Contract-only features

With our new platform packages, we’ve limited some features to contract customers only. If you’re already on a calendar-only or full platform plan, you’ll have access to the following features until **August 31, 2025**:

- Bring your Own Authentication (formerly “Custom Authentication”)
- Bulk Authentication
- Custom domain/CNAME (formerly “whitelabeled domain”)
- HIPAA and HITECH business associate agreements
- Hosted Authentication branding (formerly “custom branding”)
- Hosted Scheduler whitelabeling
- Nylas Notetaker
- Pub/Sub notification channels
- Static IP routing (formerly “static IPs”)
