The following are changes for September 2022 minor release.

Deprecated

  • Canadian Data Center (CA DC): The Canadian Data Center (CA DC) is deprecated as of September 30, 2022.

    Creating new organizations and applications on the CA DC is no longer available. Customers must migrate their workloads to one of the following regions:

    • United States
    • Europe

  • Microsoft Basic Authentication in Exchange Online: Microsoft’s Basic Authentication in Exchange Online is deprecated as of October 1, 2022. Nylas no longer supports Basic Authentication in Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid Deployment accounts for all Nylas applications.

  • Weak SSL ciphers: Weak SSL ciphers are deprecated.

    The following are TLS cipher suites that Nylas supports:

    • ECDHE-ECDSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
    • ECDHE-ECDSA-CHACHA20-POLY1305
    • ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384
    • ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
    • ECDHE-RSA-CHACHA20-POLY1305
    • ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384
    • Supported TLS versions are 1.2 and 1.3.
    • Cipher suites are in OpenSSL format.

  • Scheduler stability: The September minor release includes improved schedular stability.

    • The P90 latency for availability endpoints has been improved.
    • Scenarios that could cause double bookings have been fixed.
    • No customer migration is required.
