As a friendly reminder, Nylas maintains compatibility within major versions. This means you don’t need to do anything to use the features we’re talking about here.
Updates to Dashboard
Section titled “Updates to Dashboard”We’ve updated the Billing & Usage page on the Dashboard: you can now download a CSV file that lists all of your billable grants for each month, starting from July 1, 2025.
Nylas API improvements and bug fixes
Section titled “Nylas API improvements and bug fixes”- Added support for Google’s new
/gmail.metadata
scope. - Added
message.*.metadata
webhooks. - Added
is_plaintext
parameter to Send Message and Create Draft endpoints. - Added support for specific time availability to Scheduler. You can now define one-off availability windows using the
specific_time_availability
parameter.
Nylas SDK changelogs
Section titled “Nylas SDK changelogs”Our intrepid team of developers is always working to improve Nylas, and that includes the SDKs that we maintain. We had a few updates to the SDKs throughout the month:
- Node.js SDK: v7.12.0
- Python SDK: v6.10.0, v6.11.0, v6.11.1
- Kotlin/Java SDK: v2.12.0, v2.13.0, v2.13.1
More changes to the docs site
Section titled “More changes to the docs site”As with last month, we’re continuing to make our new docs site easier to navigate.
- We’ve debuted our shiny new homepage!
- We’ve updated our top nav bar so the most important documentation areas are front-and-center.
- You can find our Dev guide, Provider guides, Notifications docs, SDK docs, and Support & troubleshooting guides under the new “Developer resources” category.
- We’ve added our Scheduler UI components references to the main documentation.
- We’ve merged our various pages about scopes into one central location.
These changes haven’t affected any of our links, so no need to update your bookmarks!

- Updated the Using the Scheduler Editor component and Using the Scheduling component docs to have more examples.
- Made the Nylas-hosted Scheduling Pages doc more straightforward.
- Consolidated information about available meeting types into a single page: Meeting types in Nylas Scheduler.
- Added the Scheduler UI components references to the main docs site.
